ActiveOps - Mainframe Connector - ConnectiQ

ConnectiQ is ActiveOps’ mainframe RPA enabler. It provides scalable access to mainframe applications by turning the native mainframe protocol into web services.

Mainframe applications weren’t designed for integration with other applications. This makes it difficult when you want to use mainframe data with external applications or automated processes. And it can make it almost impossible to integrate your mainframe with the Web-based world in which most of your other computer applications live.
Fortunately for your enterprise, there’s ConnectiQ™ by ActiveOps. It allows integration with mainframe applications without the performance issues related to desktop emulators. Instead, ConnectiQ is server-based and it uses the same mainframe protocols as desktop emulators, yet provides direct access to the mainframe and interprets the raw 3270 data stream. This approach lets ConnectiQ capture every data element, including hidden elements. As a result, every transaction between the mainframe and the desktop can be executed flawlessly.
We built ConnectiQ the right way — enabling your UiPath RPA success for maximum speed, scalability, and reliability.

ConnectiQ does not require interacting with the desktop emulator API (EHLLAPI). It comes with an easy to use studio that allows users to quickly create mainframe tasks. This greatly reduces the time to develop mainframe tasks. At runtime, the robot makes restful service calls to ConnectiQ instead of interacting with a desktop emulator. You can expect the robot to run mainframe tasks up to 7 times faster than the API interface to a desktop emulator.
